Which group trip is right for you?
Three questions. You get one or two types of trip to look at, with the companies that run them. Nothing to sign up for.

1. What do you want most from the week?
2. How old are you?
3. What size of group sounds better?
The same answers, written out
- You want to see a country in depth: Small group adventure tours. If you are under 35 and want it cheap and fast, look at Tours for your twenties. If you want everything handled and a comfortable coach, Escorted coach tours.
- You want people your own age: 18 to 35, Tours for your twenties. From 25 up, Solo traveler trips for your 30s and 40s, which also covers 50 to 65 at one company.
- You want to be active every day: in a bigger, social group, Active and social trips. In a smaller group where the route is the point, Supported biking and hiking trips.
- You want to switch off in one place: Retreats.
- You want to be on the water: Sailing weeks. Most have age limits, so check them.
- You would rather travel with women: Women-only trips.
- You follow someone who is hosting a trip: Creator-hosted trips.
Two checks before you trust any answer
Is the age range enforced? Some companies check your date of birth. Others publish a typical range and take anyone. If the age of the group matters to you, ask.
What happens at 3pm on a normal day? Two trips to the same country at the same price can be completely different weeks. Read the day by day plan, not the photos.
